We have been successful in attracting a 6C Community Energy Fund grant, from the Community Foundation for Calderdale. The grant will pay for the installation of further LED lights in our communal areas and some more units.

The LED lights, with micro processors, will dramatically cut the energy we use, thus reducing our electricity bills and cutting overheads.

As we aim to run on environmental principles, already using 100% renewable energy, recycling waste etc, this will help towards that by cutting our carbon emissions further.
